A RESOLUTION COMMENDING MRS. BECKY TERRY'S HUMANITIES CLASS AT WATER VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL FOR ITS NURSING HOME VISITATION PROGRAM AT THE YALOBUSHA COUNTY NURSING HOME.
WHEREAS, Mrs. Becky Terry's Humanities Class at Water Valley High School has initiated a nursing home visitation program at the Yalobusha County Nursing Home; and
WHEREAS, these young volunteers have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to serving their community; and
WHEREAS, the class members, Rebecca Reynolds, Alyia Ramirez, Carla Hamilton, Bethany Caulfield, Matt Weeks, Chris McCluskey, Alita Wilson and Jessica West are recognized for their volunteer service, community spirit and commitment to serving others; and
WHEREAS, the class is led by a dedicated teacher, Mrs. Becky Terry; and
WHEREAS, the strength of our communities and the overall vitality of society depends upon the dedicated efforts of young people like Mrs. Becky Terry's class who use their talents and time to serve others; and
WHEREAS, it is the policy of the Senate to commend the meritorious accomplishments of the youth of this state:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, That we do hereby commend Mrs. Becky Terry's Humanities Class at Water Valley High School for its nursing home visitation program and its volunteer service.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be presented to Mrs. Becky Terry's Humanities Class.
